Hi, I am Jon Mui, an American-born Chinese, that grew up between New York and New Jersey in the ’90s. Growing up, I was most passionate about playing piano, and trading card games. It wasn’t until my early 20s that I developed an undying love for lifting weights and reading all kinds of self-development books in college that fortified my character. As an avid reader, some of the most impactful books I tend to reread from time to time are Atomic Habits by James Clear, Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill, and Essentialism by Greg McKeown.
After acquiring my associate degree in Paralegal Studies, I took a creative turn and got my bachelors in Graphic Design, graduating with a 4.0 from Kean University. It was there that I sought out mentors that eventually guided and equipped me with the design skills I possess today. Principles that I highly value include optimization, minimalism, and organization.
My greatest asset is my ability to focus with laser precision and work ruthlessly until the project or task at hand is complete. With 8+ years of experience in design, it is a privilege to be able to utilize design as an engine to create and bring new ideas into the world.
